Westside Motorcycle Academy is a motorcycle training facility recognized and endorsed by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) and the California Motorcyclists Safety Program (CMSP).

Upon successful completion of our course, you will be issued (via USPS mail) a DL 389 certificate, which waives the on-bike (practical) portion of the test required by the DMV to get a motorcycle endorsement in the State of California.  

PAYMENT INFORMATION: You may confirm your reservation with payment by sending in a check or money order in to our PO Box. Or, you may submit a secure on-line payment via paypal. Reservations not confirmed within the 3-day grace period will be cancelled for non-payment.

 The classroom portion of our course is taught on a weeknight from 4pm-9pm at the Westside Pavilion in Community Room B. The "range" or riding portion of the course is taught at the Los Angeles VA Medical Center located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Parking Lot #6, Los Angeles, CA 90073. The riding portion takes places on Saturdays and Sundays from either 6am-11am, 11am-4pm or 4pm-9pm (both days). To check availability for specific dates and times, log on to:
